The ISO 9001: 2015 QMS grant for SMEs in Qatar is a QDB initiative to help Qatari entrepreneurs/SMEs enhance their Quality management system, market penetration, capabilities, and sales potential, as well as reduce their costs and ultimately grow their business at a global level.

The purpose of this project is to help Qatari SMEs adopt a Quality Management System that represents international best practices for managing quality, which leads the business to run more efficiently and optimize profits.It provides the means of organizing employees, resources and processes to achieve business goals and maximize customer’s satisfaction.

It aims to implement a platform for SMEs to compete and adopt global best practices.

It will help them to improve the quality system there by establishing a manufacturing hub at a local and global level.

The initiative will support in achieving the Qatar National Vision 2030 to drive economic diversification, and boost the local economy

​​​How does the ISO 9001: 2015 grant work?​

The Scheme envisages subsidy up to 50% for ISO 9001 : 2015 Consultancy and Certifications through QDB approved panel of recognized service providers.​​Who benefits from the ISO 9001: 2015 grant?Any Qatari SME with valid CR number is eligible to avail the subsidy.Limited to 1 per Qatari ID per yearLimited to 1 per CR, ever​Which sectors are eligible for the ISO 9001: 2015 grant?​​All main business activities in the business sector are eligible, except the following sectors: Trading and Construction
